SOLVING PROBLEMS BY CREATING SOLUTIONS.
After studying Graphic Design at the University of Saint Petersburg, I launched my career as a Senior Designer at Wax&Hive, a full-service creative agency in St. Petersburg, Florida. There, I led a team in multiple projects including branding, logo design and content creation for companies such as Live Nation, Bloomin’ Brands (Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill), Kahwa Coffee Roasters, Hunger + Thrist Group, Magical Butter and more.
In 2019, I relocated to New York City, continuing my work with Wax&Hive as a Junior Art Director, while also growing my freelance business, Coury Design Co. In 2021, I joined the awesome team at Restaurant Brands International as a Graphic Designer on the global design team at Burger King. Over the last 3 and a half years, I have grown to become the Art Director on Burger King’s global design team, managing large-scale projects across the globe. This experience has allowed me to work with amazing brands such as Popeyes, Firehouse Subs, Tim Hortons, Activision, Sony and many more, in addition to Burger King itself.While logo design and branding have always been my passion, I also specialize in merchandise design, packaging, and experimental design.
I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients to help bring their brand into a physical space through the process of branded space installations. While working on these physical spaces, I helped to conceptualize ideas in collaboration with clients and my team to create new and innovative experiences. There is nothing better than being able to see a sketch turn into a physical asset within a living environment.
